Ingredients

6 fresh mint or basil leaves

1/2 teaspoon grated ginger root

1 can (5.5 ounces) V8® 100% Vegetable Juice, chilled

3 fluid ounces cucumber vodka (about 1/3 cup)

2 teaspoons lime juice
-
1/2 teaspoon sriracha hot chili sauce (you can add more if you like)

1/8 teaspoon celery salt
-
1 cup seltzer water, chilled
Directions

Divide the basil and ginger between 2 glasses. Using a muddler or the back end of a wooden spoon, muddle the basil and ginger (lightly crush them against the side of the glass to release the flavor). Fill the glasses with ice.

Add the V8®, vodka, lime juice, sriracha and celery salt to a cocktail shaker. Cover and shake until combined. Pour the V8® mixture into the glasses. Top with the seltzer and serve immediately.
Tips
-
Try coating the rim of the glass with a combination of cayenne pepper and kosher salt! Make it stick by rubbing the rim with a slice of cucumber first.
